 Sister. Friend. Woman. Lover. Wife. Mother. Grandmother. Mother-in-Law. ENFP. Aquarian. Generation Jones-er. Space Ager. Fledgling Buddhist. Registered Nurse. Recovering opiate addict. Recovering alcoholic.  NOUN: One who is not restrained, as by convention or obligation; a nonconformist. I have to be told "No!" by three different people in any given situation in order to stop my persistence. Don't be fooled by my blonde hair and short stature (5'5"). I have a very mean growl, scowl and I am quite feisty. I will bite if necessary ;) On the other hand, I am sensitive, loving, kind and witty :) I rarely back down from dares, unless they are illegal and/or would be hurtful to any animal or human being. I am not ashamed (nor afraid) to publicly admit that I am a recovering opiate addict and recovering alcoholic. My recovery is tenuous, and I have relapsed several times, but I go back to sobriety as quickly as I can. I would like to share with others that alcoholic blackouts and near opiate overdoses (sometimes simultaneously) almost killed me at least four times in my life.  God, grant me The serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.     For it is life, The very life of life. The realities and verities of existence, The bliss of growth, The splendor of action The glory of power. For yesterday is but a dream, And tomorrow is only a vision.
